| In what appears to be deja vu, the Law Offices represents another Asian-American employee (the other being a former Northwestern police officer) against Northwestern University who was retaliated against for filing complaints with HR for a hostile work environment and not ever receiving a promotion after 15 years of service with the IT Department. The suit is pending in federal court in the Northern District of Illinois. Aside from the retaliation claims, the plaintiff has also alleged a civil conspiracy claim after the HR Equal Employment Office of the University hired the Illinois Department of Human Resources investigator who was investigating the University.
